LinkedIn has a feature that recommends people you may know. This is a great opportunity to start connecting with a number of people in your industry. I on a number of occasions have added people who I thought had interesting jobs, ones who have sent me a private message asking if I could help them with their Social Media! It works. So connect, connect, connect!

  1. Post Regularly To your LinkedIn 

This is great in combination to the above! If you post regular updates about latest news in your industry, such as facts, figures, the importance of whatever you do to your connections, it does three things:
